Data in Possible Credit Card Breach Appears to Be Old

A batch of names, addresses, emails and phone numbers of credit card customers around the world released on Monday indicates a breach of a payment processor, but the data appears old.
A hacker nicknamed "Reckz0r" posted a link to the data dump on Pastebin, also writing on Twitter that he had "penetrated over 79 large banks" and holds 50GB of data on MasterCard and Visa cardholders. No card numbers were released, however.
A payment card industry source, who did not want to be identified by name, said the data may have been copied from another website that released it more than two weeks ago, and the details appeared to be "old."

But still.
Here’s a comparison of the new Microsoft Surface and the Apple iPad. I’ve grouped the iPad WIFI and 4G models, as they are almost feature-for-feature identical. And I’ve added the Surface Windows 8 version here, but it’s almost a product in a different class, with a full desktop operating system, stylus support, and more.

Digital music revenue exceeds physical formats in the UK as streaming services grow

For the first time ever, digital music downloads and streaming revenues have exceeded�those of physical formats in the UK.
According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), revenue of digital music overtook physical formats for the first time between January and April of this year,�accounting for 55.5% of U.K. music revenue .
Digital income from all sources including � la carte, subscription and ad-supported services grew by 23.6% in Q1 to �86.5m, while revenue from physical formats like CD and lovely, lovely vinyl fell by 15.1% to �69.3m.
