Evernote 4.0 for Android emerges with improved lists and a snazzier homescreen

The Android version of the note taking app extraordinaire Evernote has just seen a hefty upgrade, with the app now sporting a completely redesigned interface, with the developers claiming it to be “the most powerful Evernote for Android, ever.”
Every single screen has been redesigned with an “easier to use, faster and more intuitive” interface, with the home screen now combining note creation options with buttons that take you directly into notebooks, tags and places.
The note and notebook lists have been revamped and there’s new contextual Action Bars along the bottom of several screens offering relevent options to that page, as Evernote explains:

Twitter hits 10 million active users in the UK, Brits the biggest mobile users

Twitter has confirmed that  there are now 10 million active users tweeting regularly in the United Kingdom – a hefty figure that makes us Brits the fourth largest tweeting nation on the planet.
According to their stats,  around one in six UK citizens are now signed up to the social network, with about 80% of Tweetin’ Brits viewing the service on their mobile devices.
That figure turns out to be way ahead of  other countries, with the global  average of mobile Twitter users just 55%.

Leica is hoping to tempt the wallets of the fat rich and the hideously well-heeled with its latest ‘special edition’ of the Leica M9 full-frame digital rangefinder camera.
Known as the Leica M9-P ‘Edition Hermès’, the toff-tastic snapper comes in ochre-coloured Veau Swift calfskin leather, supplied by Hermès.
The Leica M9-P ‘Edition Hermès’ is offered in a choice of two different sets, containing either one or three lenses, with the single lens kit coming this month at an eye watering £18,000.

Ready and willing to serve up some big screen action in the motor is the new TomTom Start 60 GPS unit, offering the biggest screen seen on any of TomTom’s portable navigation devices.
